Sinopsis

In a male-dominated society, there are always glaring differences between society&rsquo,s perception of a woman&rsquo,s selfhood and the intrinsic identity that she has always wanted to build. While she undergoes a series of trials throughout her formative years, she encounters certain behavioural patterns, certain misogynistic and inhumane actions that are considered &lsquo, the usual&rsquo, in the eyes of the society. Since these actions are not to be spoken of and therefore slid under the carpet, these revelations naturally needed to be read&ndash, not spoken&ndash,in the form of this book.Through this book of poetry, I have attempted to encapsulate these perceptions in the form of 8 questions&ndash, questions which you must have encountered in your day-to-day life. These poems, mostly anecdotal in nature, are a testament to the resilience that you and I have exhibited.Because the perceived woman is not just me. It is us.
