The aim of this book was to develop a cost system through a practical study of a bakery company in a town in the state of Paraíba. To make this research possible, bibliographical research, on-site visits and interviews with employees were used. The research addressed the importance of cost management to help managers in the decision-making process and in controlling costs. The book is easy to understand, simple and practical, but important for people working in small companies.
