Sinopsis

This research examined the levels of information anxiety within the USAF, with specific emphasis on the levels experienced by a single career field (16P, Political-Military Affairs Strategists). Data gathered was used to make two separate assessments and a final recommendation. First, the paper explored how the levels of information anxiety have changed over time. This was accomplished using the only two available comprehensive studies into this phenomenon as points of comparison. Additionally, this study also created a baseline within a population (16P career field) that can be repeatedly measured over a period of time to determine changes in levels of information anxiety. Finally, this research recommended an immediate analysis into greater understanding of this problem and a focused approach to mitigation efforts within the USAF information management community. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
